BUSINESS & WORK IMMAGRATION
EMPLOYER SPONSOR LICENCE
Once your licence has been granted, you must have HR processes in place to ensure that foreign workers have the requisite skills, credentials, or professional accreditations to accomplish their duties; Keep copies of any papers that prove this. Only issue sponsorship certificates to employees when the job qualifies for sponsorship. Inform UKVI if your sponsored employees are not abiding by the terms of their visa; notify UKVI of any changes as soon as possible.
If you fail to meet these requirements, your licence may be reduced, suspended, or revoked.
DESCRIPTION
Employers in the UK must get a sponsor licence before hiring someone from outside the UK, including anybody from the EU who does not have authorisation to work in the UK. Anyone can apply for a sponsor licence; there is no requirement to prove a specified quantity of turnover or a business history for a specific time period. The Home Office will determine whether you are qualified and if the need to apply is real. To monitor sponsored staff, you need to have suitable compliance measures in place.
SPONSORSHIP AND JOB CERTIFICATE
Once your licence has been approved, you may sponsor an employee provided their intended employment fits all of the requirements for their visa, including a reasonable wage and level of competence. Each foreign worker you hire requires a certificate of sponsorship, which you must provide.
This is not a tangible document, but rather an electronic record. Each certificate includes a unique number that a worker may use to submit a visa application.
APPLICATION PROCESS
A request is submitted online, and specific supporting documentation is sent by email. There is a cost of £536 to $1,476. For employees who are already in the UK, you could have to pay an immigration skills charge. In order to confirm that you satisfy the requirements, UKVI may also do an on-site compliance inspection.
Depending on your needs, our expert support costs between £3,000 and £6,000.

When an international worker is on a graduate training programme that would prepare them for a senior management or specialised post while working on a temporary assignment in the UK, they can apply through the Graduate Trainee route.
For foreign employees going on temporary work assignments in the UK, there is a path called UK Expansion Worker. The person, a senior management or specialist, has been sent to the UK to carry out tasks associated with a company’s growth into the country.

To supply services covered by one of the UK’s foreign trade agreements, they must carry out a project in the UK.
For foreign employees engaging on temporary work assignments in the UK, there is the Secondment Worker option. As part of a significant contract or investment by their business abroad, the worker is being posted to the UK.
